HR Manager

In this role you are responsible for the full HR cycle at Denham. You will be working closely with the leadership team and all layers below on advising and supporting all aspects of the employee journey.  

We are looking for a dynamic, organized and experienced HR Manager to lead our Human Resources & Office Management department. The HR Manager will be responsible for all HR activities and together with the HR Assistant, the HR Manager will be the go-to person for the organization on all people-related topics. Strategic input will also be requested from time to time as well as HR process optimization as you see fit. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvements.

What we expect from you:

  • Lead the HR team of 1 HR & Office Coordinator.

  • Implement best practices: manage and implement HR policies contributing to developing the company culture.

  • Coaching and mentoring at management level.

  • Creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs.

  • Coordinate and monitor the budgeting practices in accordance with Finance.

  • Create an overall fundamentally strong strategic HR-policy by engaging the managers of different departments.

  • Ensuring Denham complies with current legislation.

  • Ensure monthly payroll is prepared and executed, together with the HR & Office Coordinator.

  • Overseeing Office Management activities.

What we are searching for:

  • Bachelor/master's degree in HRM or related study.

  • At least 3 years relevant experience in a HR Generalist or HRBP position.

  • Knowledge of Dutch labour law.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of the organization.

  • Hands-on mentality, eager to learn and develop self and others.

  • Ability to translate business goals into relevant HR processes and policies to ensure continuous development of HR within the company.

  • Self-starter with a can-do mentality: proactive and able to monitor the "pulse" of the company and prioritize needs.

  • Experience with rapidly and complex changing work environment and change management.

  • Strong communication skills (English must, Dutch would be an advantage)

  • Specialized knowledge within fashion brand is preferred
