Do you want to work for one of the coolest jean’s brands in the Netherlands? We are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active person to join the Product team, 5 days a week. Are you passionate about fashion, service minded and looking for a new opportunity, then we are looking for you!

DENHAM is looking for a temporary Junior Product Developer Jeans (maternity cover) to join our team in Amsterdam.

As our temporary Junior Product Developer you will support the Product Team in all the needs to ensure our men and women Jeans collections are to the highest standard. You will assist and be involved in the whole Development process from Design briefing until final collection is ready for the showroom. You are willing to travel and visit our factories/suppliers whenever needed as part of the process.

You have a mindset of continuously improving our products and a positive attitude and taking initiative to help other departments in the company whenever necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Brief follow up.

• Fabric and trim management for collection.

• Creation of technical files and specs for the vendors.

• Following up with deadlines and chasing first/second proto’s, lab dips, artwork mock-ups, and final SMS samples.

• Processing proto comments and adjusting in technical files and communicating to suppliers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years of relevant working experience in garment development, preferably denim garments (Jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses, etc.).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion education and fluent in English both speaking and writing.

• Big passion and affinity with jeans products and enthusiasm for innovation is a must.

• Good knowledge of garment constructions, technical files/BOM, sizing and gradation and industrial denim washing is a plus.

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; problem solver; highly detail oriented and meticulous.

• Highly organized and able to handle pressure well in fast-paced environment.

• Flexible and willingness to travel abroad.
