Production - Tops Intern

As Production Intern for Tops you will assist in the follow-up process after collection development to bring our SMS tops collection into production. First and foremost, you will spend your time becoming better acquainted with tops over several product groups of both gender. You will assist the production department in a fast-paced environment with all general day-to-day tasks. You will report to the Production Manager Tops.

Full-time · Amsterdam

Task and Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting in measuring SMS samples, size sets, pre-production samples until production shipment samples;

  • Supporting the process of new season (sample) collection;

  • Assisting with quality control of the garments such as washing test;

  • Communicate comments to suppliers;

  • Processing all noted comments and making adjustments in technical files;

  • Assisting during fit meetings;

  • Assisting in following up deadlines and chasing size sets/pre-production samples, lab dips etc.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Fashion education from AMFI/Saxion Hogeschool;

  • Strong communication and writing skills in English;

  • Organized and good attention to details;

  • Knowledge of Excel experience is preferred;

  • Construction and Technical knowledge of tops preferred;

  • Experience with measuring tops is a must.
