Do you want to work for one of the coolest jean’s brands in the Netherlands? We are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active Senior Visual Merchandiser to join our team in Amsterdam full-time. So, are you passionate about fashion, service minded and looking for a new opportunity, then we are looking for you!

In this role you will co-ordinate and implement all DENHAM visual merchandising and display functions for retail boutiques and wholesale accounts.

This includes developing standards and seasonal guidelines, handling display and installations/pop ups for events, creative window project concepts and directly training sales staff of general visual merchandising and displays.

The position is based out of DENHAM HQ with consistent bi-weekly visits to the DENHAM NL stores and occasional travel to other shop in shop locations.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a VM calendar for all projects for the year that includes, but is not limited to: launch dates, window installations, training and special events.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Retail Manager and the Brand & Marketing Director on conceptualizing and execute seasonal showroom installation to be translated into window displays and brand activation's.

  • Create a seasonal Game Plan for Retail and Wholesale, including marketing material and window probs, based on the need of each account.

  • Align with Buying and Merchandise on the product packages for each campaign and develop store rotation schedule based on delivery, brand events, and special projects.

  • Follow up on KPI’S as collection Sell Thru, to ensure profitability on VM decisions, maximize sales and minimize gaps.

  • Own and manage the Visual Merchandising budget for windows installations, in-store material, and store concept projects.

  • Work alongside the Project Manager to monitor in-store maintenance, Shop in Shop installation, revamp of current locations and special events.

  • Initiate concept improvements for retail space and wholesale shop in shops floor plans and fixtures, including prototype of new elements and solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional with: Marketing, Retail Operations, Buying and Merchandising to ensure all business needs are addressed.

  • Develop and nurture partnerships with store managers and Key accounts, to promote brand and sales – driving VM presentations to enhance opportunities.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum 3-5+ years in Visual Merchandising, preferably within a competitive premium brand(s).

• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop) and Microsoft Office. SketchUp skills are a plus.

• Extensive experience in creating and executing visual merchandising initiatives, including: window displays, mannequin styling, and, pop up activation's and special events.

• Knowledge of holistic retail business concepts in store concept, buying, marketing, and customer experience.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Hands on mentality.

• Acute attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
